Cruisin down on yet another long range voyage this one being for 7 days. This trip we were lucky enough to get a nice load of bait that hopefully will live in the tropical waters. With last trips battles having no bait but still prevailing with a beautiful catch of tuna, yellowtail, dorado, wahoo and some other exotics this trip we have much higher hopes for more consistent fishing. Couple things I wanna bring up to all of you who read these web reports is first, everyone who comes with us can adjust whether you like fishing bait or jigs more.

Last trips battles having no bait was a fine example of adjusting to fishing different lures/styles in different conditions. Second is, if you aren’t confident in your ability to fish a lure or dead bait please see one of crew members for assistance. These guys fish different conditions/lures/baits every single day and are more than happy it assist you in every which way possible. Finally the last thing I wanna bring up is with this year the water being so hot we all as fishermen need to be prepared for any situation that may come up. We expect on Royal Star there to be some fantastic fishing to come in the near future but for right now it seems as the ocean is kinda lost and getting adjusted to hot water. Just a matter of time before everything collects and wants to engage with all of our offerings. Tomorrow we will arrive at the rocks in hopes for both tuna fish wahoo. Hopefully the sharks won’t be an issue.
