Searcher Sportfishing is checking in with a trip report. We are currently out on Trip #24, our annual Turner’s Outdoorsman and Izorline International Sponsored 8-Day Trip, with our amazing sponsors, Lori and Wendy! We departed Fisherman’s Landing this past Saturday, July 25, 2026, and will return home on Sunday, August 2, 2026.

The first couple of days of the trip, we worked down the beach and had great yellowtail fishing. One afternoon, we stopped to make bait and did the Ridge special. Over the past few days, there have been nice picks of yellowfin tuna, a wahoo, some pargo, and more yellowtail. We’re headed back up to fish for yellowtail again tomorrow.
