The dream continues. This time in the most idyllic conditions one can imagine. Flat calm, beautiful overhead sunshine, and perfect air temps were the foundation of an epic day of fishing. Again along the coast we searched and found. Yellowtail were the main prize while eager add ons joined the party nigh every time we stopped to sample what became acres of yellows as the day moved along. Ultimately the mother lode was happened upon mid day closing out our pursuit of yellows in spectacular fashion. What a showing; one that will forever be remembered by this fantastic group of anglers blessed to witness an ocean and ecosystem in perfect balance. Taking leave of the coast at days end calm weather opens the door tomorrow for another old school offshore search. It's tuna time now. We are all in seeking southern body of fish yet to be found. Today's image is another from the hot surface iron rounds. Royal Star angler Troy Hoeft gets the nod with a dandy that fell for the JRI DW1.
