Royal Polaris sees bad winds
5-3-2007
Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone, well our weather was just beautiful, until about 13:00 hours. That's when the wind started to pick up. We had 15 to 18 knots of breeze most of the afternoon. About 18:00 hours, the wind back off and it was starting to be a nice night, but as fast as it started to get nice, it turned windy again. Fishing today was about the same, good Wahoo fishing, and very slow Yellowfin tuna fishing. It's not that the fish are not around, we had a school right off our port side, and they just gave us the fin. It was a nice school of 80 to 120 pound Yellowfin. We tried everything, live flyers, dead flyers, rubber flyers, Sardines, Mackerel, chunks, we tried everything. But the tuna didn't want anything we had to give, but it's a sign for us to try this another day. After dinner, it didn't take long for us to get three tanks of flyers for fishing tomorrow. So with that in mind, I will close until tomorrow. Good luck and good fishing, the R/p crew.
