Night time festivities

Today was a whole new day. We started off with the next new fishing trend, night time dorado fishing haha. Right around 0300 we had a nice school of 12-25 pound dorado come up and mess around with us for a few hours before we started looking for tuna. With very little sign of tuna and lots of marlin we moved on and yet again had our sights set on another lower bank.

We arrived mid afternoon with almost no current and some tuned up weather. Instead of making drifts we decided to drop the anchor and mess around with some grouper before moving up and preparing for some more snotty weather. Tomorrow we’ll be somewhere along the ridge hopefully finding some more school sized tuna and yellowtail.

For today’s picture we showcase our early morning first time anglers and their quality dorado. These fish were all sight fished.
