What we were looking for and potential to spare with our mid day arrival in the next zone of choice producing sound results. Calm seas, abundant sign of yellowfin from 80-150 pounds, and plenty of time to make good on opportunities sets the stage for the back end of the trip. In short we have arrived. Now is the time. Photos today feature our good friend Dr. Andy Cooperman again who stood in for Master angler and catch and release specialist Bruce Posthumous. This fish, slated for freedom if landed, gave up the battle on his own opting for a ride north in 30 degree seawater rather than sinking to the bottom. At just over two hundred pounds we were happy to accommodate Mother Nature's will. And rest assured not of pound of this precious beauty will be under appreciated. Photo number two features our good friend Kenny Higa with a classic tropical beauty sporting the long "sickle" fins trophy yellowfin in these climes are well known for.
