Haven't seen this style of fishing on this grade in this legendary zone for many years. An easy morning drifting and scratching led to an afternoon ripper on the anchor again featuring these beautiful grade, 60-120# yellowfin tuna. Good times. School fish joined the action later along with a few of their insufferable brown escorts but they didn't manage to rain on our parade. Fishin' and catchin' were mighty good. Taking our good fortune and beautiful load of primo RSW yellowfin in the hatch a move up the line by day's end was in order. We bid the legendary mid oceanic gamefish haven farewell keenly aware and appreciative of our great fortune. Master angler and Royal Star veteran Meghan Fox grabs photo honors today with a fine wahoo, one of two landed on straight flurocarbon!
