Bits and Pieces

We departed yesterday on another 3 day adventure targeting the well known bluefin tuna. With a 1930 arrival time in the zone we had plenty of time to rig and get everyone a nap before the party began. Right as we arrived we scoped out multiple foamers that did not wanna cooperate with any of our offerings. This did however provide us hope that we had some opportunity come nightfall.
Nightfall had arrived and we found a very nice school that provided everyone an opportunity to catch a bluefin. Unfortunately we only saw one true school of fish to work on throughout the entire night. Bits and pieces of that school were spread out in a 2 mile area for 4 boats the work off of which we all can assume does not work well for these boats. Overall we finished our night with 16 beautiful bluefin and hopefully more to come. Tomorrow we’ll be hitting the local scene targeting some of the smaller class bluefin before coming back to the night time zone. Wish us luck!
