The beauty of collective effort. Following another full, long day of looking the fruit of our labors was finally realized. A brief evening adrenaline punch, courtesy of a couple of dandy “foamers”, provided solid hope that the fishless ocean traversed since daylight was finally ready to yield. And a mere four hours later, well into the nighttime grind, she finally did. Our trusted colleague within striking distance to the south found the main vein initiating a bum rush to what all hoped would be desperately needed salvation. It was. Though a little tardy to the ball we jumped right in the saddle upon arrival stringing together steady stops the remainder of the night. All good now. Needless to say we’ll set up camp here tomorrow aiming for a solid finish to this three day run. Photos today feature first time Royal Star angler Richard Imagawa with a nice specimen and Larry Higashi with his midnight, hard earned prize.
