Well, today looked like a completely different ocean. With our hopes up high to see the same sign of fish as we did the day before, our expectations were simply deflated. We had one opportunity early in the morning to catch a few of these beasts but after that the fish went down.
Our entire fleet began to go into search mode. Between 10 boats searching with the glasses and sonar we found one singular school 40 miles to the north that got split into a million small pieces. Night time was the same exact story. Lots of scanning for very little in result. Our game plan for tomorrow will be to fish coastal and get some time at the rail. Yellowtail, Seabass, Lingcod or miscellaneous who knows. After everyone gets their fill of that we will be heading back out offshore in search of any pelagic species.
For todays photos please enjoy a few from the archives. A few nice photos of our beloved vessel as well as a few very nice schools of bluefin tuna we hope to see tomorrow. That's all we have for you today. Hopefully tomorrow we’ll find the motherlode!
