Sporadic sign and a new wave of sharks hampered production. Choppy conditions, courtesy of opposing north west and south swells along with a freshening north east breeze made for fine kite flying but less comfort. A reality of fishing nigh 600 miles offshore we took the bumps in stride enjoying a day of fishing both adrift and anchored. Opting for a quick side trip to bid farewell to an old friend we set sail at dark en route for the “barn”. Today’s image features veteran master angler and Royal Star friend Cliff Joralman with his fine grade yellowfin picked off late in the day on the fly lined sardine.
