Different day today with far less surface visuals. That said in no way are there less fish. A nice morning shot for a handful of 100-170 pound tuna and a couple of go arounds on the wahoo mid morning kept us on pace. An occasional wahoo ambush throughout the afternoon made the effort worthwhile as we patiently awaited the traditional evening hit. But as the light faded so did the fishing. Plenty of enthusiastic small fish wreaked their havoc but nothing in the desired size range climbed on. Every day is different. Content to see what tomorrow brings here we sit enjoying what is still a nice ride. Photo today features Royal Star veteran and master angler John Strock with the guys hauling one of his two sardine eating 170’s over the rail.
