Worth a thousand words following a long steam to the grounds the report today features current images of the day’s action. While far from hot and heavy the pace was easy and satisfying featuring plenty of opportunity to wet a line from the boat both on the drift and fast to the bottom. Steady action on nice wahoo with a sprinkling of 100-130 pound yellowfin kept the fire alive while a surface show spectacular motivated one and all. Current sign suggests there is opportunity here in abundance. And we’ve only scratched the surface. As such all are content to settle in and enjoy the next few days in this surreal fishing destination. Photos today feature Royal Star veterans Dr. Andy Cooperman with a fine wahoo and Dennis McNeely and the boys with a perfect example of the better grade tuna around.
