A slow start to the day followed yesterday’s bonanza as anglers nursing sore muscles rolled out at dawn. Not overly eager to hit the rail running all took their time, enjoyed the calm setting at ease on the anchor, then leisurely wet a line. Traditional ridge style action on nice grade yellowtail fit the bill to perfection. Mixed with all kinds of variety ranging from striped marlin to pargo, and everything in between, plenty of yankin’ and crankin’ stretched out sore limbs. Fizzling out to near zero by late morning an afternoon search mission produced little but did set up an early evening shot at nice yellows that carried on into the dark and beyond.
