Variety

Our final day in coastal search mode produced plenty of catching on tasty variety. Local conditions still cold no progress was made on yellowtail however we did find an interesting sprinkling of bluefin all the way into 300-500 fathoms right around 120 miles from SD. Once again another indication of more bluefin around than one would believe based on the amount seen thus far time will pass and they willl come. Meanwhile catching, consistent with traditional early season patterns, will continue to be weather dependent offshore. Opting to take a few days at the dock to make some improvements we'll be back at it Friday for the remainder of the season. Final voyage image features Captain Alex Natipadab and Royal Star angler Brian Miyazaki jubilant as Brian's sixty pound class bluefin comes over the rail.
