Day 4 Fishing
10-14-2022
Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone, well it was a tough day again, until 15:00 hours. Then the Yellowtail came out to play. Most of the fish were in the 18-25 pound range, with a few larger one’s.
The morning bite was slow on the tuna, and the skipjack were a problem, with them getting most of the fly lined baits.
The Yellowfin that we tagged were in the 12-20 range. We are now headed north, as we will try to catch some bigger baits and try our luck at the monsters the deep (Grouper).
Everyone on board is having a great time, as the weather is as excellent today, with 5-10 knots of breeze, just enough to keep the heat down. We are hoping that things will change for the tuna bite.
We did get a few Wahoo and a couple of Pargo to end out our catch.
Not much more to say, until tomorrow, wish us luck. Team R/p
