Fish Report for 1-16-2021

Craig Ito, This Was For You
1-16-2021
Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone; Well today was dedicated to Craig Ito, he was not here this year, so we did some Calico Bass fishing in his honors. We had an excellent day of Calico Bass fishing, with most of the fish in the 5 to 8 pound range, with a few going close to 10 pounds. We keep a few for a Calico lunch tomorrow, and some tagged some to take home, but most were returned back to the ocean. We also caught a few Yellowtail, up to 20 pounds.
Weather today was beautiful, but we did have 25 to 30 knots of breeze, out of the northeast. It was very warm and we enjoyed every minute of it. We will depart this area around midnight, head north and try our last day of fishing on some giant Bluefin tuna. With reports of some fish around, we will give them a try tomorrow morning.
So until then, with us luck, team R/p.
