Departing on the annual "Barking Spiders" eight day voyage today is an ideal moment to stop, reflect, and recognize that we are incredibly fortunate citizens of the greatest country in the history of civilization. Independence Day, declared in 1776, began the seismic trajectory of the USA. Amidst tumultuous times the character of true patriots protects the core values, principals, and rights of every citizen enshrined in the US Constitution. Let us all ensure that our freedom to think, speak, believe, and debate is never compromised.
