In a hurry up offense posture we squeezed in a full afternoon of yellowtail fishing local for a couple of handfuls plus before the action shut down. It was a fine introduction and opportunity for those new to this style of fishing to shake out the kinks. A good time was had by all. So much so, and taking all things into account, we opted to overnight in the flat calm of the island lee and start here again tomorrow. Very good sign of yellows in the am before we arrived today is the main impetus. That and the fact that the best body of bluefin is a mere twenty some odd miles close.
