A smooth ride north fruitlessly prospecting along the way not too concerned about the lack of production. Conditions overall were poor - lots of cool, green water and virtually zero sign of life. It looks like the stack up of local yellowfin and bluefin is still locked in to the north. Good news for the all day to three day guys working above; looks like things are poised to keep on rolling.
Speaking of continuing to roll Captain Brian "Gerbie" Sims sets forth tomorrow on the annual "The Bight" sponspored seven day run. Look for his reports and photos to continue. Final voyage photo features long time Royal Star angler Evan Hashimoto with a beautiful, 65 pound class yellowfin landed yesterday afternoon.
