Good yellows again in the am set up the afternoon search for Bluefin offshore. It didn’t take long. Mucho, mucho fish, incredible amounts, again, were the norm. Maddeningly the running “norm” of the bastards not biting continues. We had a few shots, enough to maintain optimism and enthusiasm, but the potential just beyond reach can drive one nuts at times. It will come. The most important component of success - fish to fish for, is rock solid in hand. Tomorrow we’ll dedicate the full day to the offshore zone. The weather is perfect. The moon is right. We are loaded with primo bait and plenty of time. A better recipe for success cannot be contrived. Time will tell.
