Fish Report for 7-11-2019
Great morning action on the island yellows set us up for another afternoon offshore plying the local waters. In less than ideal weather we bumped our way down, out, up, and in for another fruitless attempt on the bluefin. Yes plenty were seen but the spots were relatively small, scattered, and wild as hell. One dandy school late gave us some real hope but left us holding the bag after a brief good showing. Back to the drawing board we’ll try for some action again on the yellows tomorrow before one final swing at the bluefin offshore. The weather is forecast to improve significantly tomorrow through Monday so we will see it that, and the upcoming full moon, triggers a change for the better.
