Fish Report for 5-1-2019

Afternoon sign

It was a dismal start with slow morning fishing and poor conditions quickly leading to a fruitless afternoon. A position change, with a little help from my friends, saved the day. Not much in the way of numbers and overall action but success is always relative. To feel that we were fishing with a fair chance of catching was far better than the alternative. Cutting it short due to tempermental connectivity suffice it to say that we are hunkered in looking to build our day tomorrow in the right zone from the start. We'll see how that goes. Photo today features Charter Master and good friend Chris Yamada, a literal long range legend, with this 175 taken mid morning on the sardine gear.
