It Doesn't Get Any Better;
That's the saying going around the boat today. I've seen good Yellowfin fishing, and today was about the best it gets. Our morning started out steady, but by 10:30, it slowed down to nothing. Billy pulled the anchor and we trolled for Wahoo. With only a handful of Wahoo caught, we put the anchor down again, and it was as good as it gets. The Yellowfin were on the bite, and they bite anything that hit the water, Iron, fly-line baits, the kite. We went through the kite rotation a few time, then called it quites, for the kite.
Yesterday one of our passengers lost a rod/reel over the side, today when we pulled the anchor, there was some spectra on the rope, we pulled the spectra and at the other end was his rod and reel. Now that's good luck.
Good weather, great fishing, and good people, what more could you ask for. Until tomorrow, wish us luck. The R/p crew.
