Fish watching

Still tough on the outside. Another day of fish watching while hooking only a few was a clear indication that change was in order. For the better or worse we saddled up mid afternoon and headed for anything else, at least for a couple of days. On the positive side we are enjoying the time offshore in continuing flat calm seas. No doubt contributing large to the current elevated sea surface temps almost everywhere it’s a trend difficult to find fault with when it comes to comfort.
Otherwise we head forth admittedly concerned that the noose is tightening. Not the first time we’ve been faced with challenge this occasion elicits the same resolve as so many others. To force change requires determination and effort. Right now we are all on board.
Photo today features Lumberjack Legend Scott Gray and his 75 pound class yellowfin tuna that finally broke the ice after a few too many swings and misses.
