Not from a lack of fish the day's results were lackluster nevertheless. It's good to see them of course, far better than searching in a desert, but the 'look but no touch' scenario elicits a whole different dimension of frustration. We managed to boat a few, enough to inginte the idea that success here is possible, but time will tell. Still hasseled by the local thugs we've got a long way to go here before calling out a catch.

Epic weather, plenty of time, excellent bait, etc. – all part of a foundation that we hope will lead to success. It's a familiar story told during the past couple of months.
