Royal Star Fish Report for 11-14-2016

1st fishing day

Royal Star
Dawn this morning was spectacular, with the sun peeking over the rich, blue mirror surface of the pacific. It held promise for finding something floating that would hold endless numbers of hungry wahoo. Today that was not to be. We worked beautiful water almost til days end and found not a single piece of flotsam. In the afternoon we arrived on a shallow and had good action all the way til dark, yanking and cranking on small tuna and skipjack. Just before dark the wahoo moved in and we landed about one per rod amidst the adrenaline pumping action that only wahoo can create. Les Merrill bested a couple of wahoo today including this 40# model.
