Royal Polaris Fishing Report
10-4-2016
Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone; we arrived to Alijos rocks at 08:00 hours, and it didn’t take long for us to get the Wahoo to bite. It was like letting the dogs out. Screams of coming under, going over, like a fire drill in elementary school.
After our first stop and everyone took a deep breath, it was game on again. All I can say about today, it was a good day.
We did make it out to Alijos bank, and the bite was not as good as the rocks, so we made our way back to the rocks to finish off our day.
Most of the Wahoo were in the 30 pound class, with a few over 40 pounds.
There was no sign of Yellowfin or Yellowtail today. So we put work in on the skin.
We will spend the night and give this another try tomorrow, before making any decision on what’s next. Weather today was overcast, with winds up to 20 knots out of the northwest. So until tomorrow, wish us luck.
