Royal Star Fish Report for 8-15-2016

Good Action

And it continues. Very good action on fifty to one hundred pound Yellowfin Tuna spaced throughout the day kept one and all busy at the rail. A few Yellowtail in the mix added variety but overall the aggressive tuna were challenging to overcome. Beautiful conditions and scenery again set this magical destination apart from all others. We are blessed and grateful to be here.
Tomorrow the search begins anew with the larger model Yellowfin Tuna, thus far elusive save for a few, square in our sights. A few more Yellowtail to add variety will be sought as well. In very good weather this is our plan; another day in sportsman's paradise. Photo of the day features Royal Star veteran and angling master Dave Manning with a fine 65 pound Yellowfin landed amongst an impressive spot of jumpers far outside the shallows.
