Coastal success

A coastal boon today in superb conditions. Catching steady yellowtail in several zones and relishing the opportunity to sit and fish from a long stopped boat anglers enjoyed a fine show as fired up yellows got it on tearing up the flat calm surface in pursuit of well presented sardines and surface lures. From every perspective it was a successful run. Taking all into account we could not find any reason abandon this honey hole just yet. But soon we will.

Come day morning we'll be on our way after a little more time at the rail. Anticipating a long offshore prospecting mission as we ply the outside zones mid day through dark tomorrow a little early rail action will go a long way toward maintaining the current stoke on board. Photo today features Royal Star angler Ron Spier with one of several dandy yellows he landed on the live sardine.
