Royal Polaris Fishing Report

Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone; We arrived to Alijos Rocks at 09:30 hours, with the weather being gorgeous. The seas were flat, the temperature was a pleasant 75 degrees, and overcast skies. We started trolling for Wahoo, and it didn’t take long for us to get our first Wahoo on the troll, and we would land a few on the Iron and bombs.
We would check out the area around Alijos, but most of the life and fish was on one side of the rocks. We would end our morning with 21 Wahoo, before we would head out to the outside bank of Alijos.
Once we arrived to the bank, it was full of life, red crabs, lots of bait, and don’t let me forget the Marlin. The water temp was 73.5 degrees, deep blue, and the Marlin put on a show for our passengers.
We would make a few drifts over the high spots, pick up a couple of Yellowtail and one Wahoo. After lunch we would make our way back to Alijos rocks.
With the morning catch of 21 Wahoo, hopes of getting a few more was in our plans. Jonathan and Big “D” thought they would get between 5 and 10 Wahoo before we would head to Uncle Sam’s Bank. But to our surprise, we would get a stop for 4, then another stop for 4, then a stop for 2, and a couple more single stops, before the sun would set, and it was time for us to take off.
We are now headed to Uncle Sam’s bank, take a quick look, then head to the ridge. So until tomorrow, wish us luck.
