Captain Justin Fleck called in last night with an audio update from the Excel out of Fisherman’s Landing in San Diego, CA. We are currently on our Ballast Point 4 day trip. We fished our first day in local waters for Bluefin Tuna up to 65 pounds. We then moved down the beach and fished a Punta Colonel for Yellowtail. Then we moved back up the line and fished the last day for Bluefin Tuna again. Not bad 4 day trip and 4 days of fishing. You can’t beat that! We will be back in port on Saturday, June 11th. We will then be departing on a 7 day trip and will will be fishing the Ridge and maybe the Rocks. Stay tuned …
