After getting a great load of bait we opted to give the local bft zone a look to start out our Baja Fish Gear 8-day.
Incredible sign of 60 to 80lb bluefin all afternoon with spots up over a large area until dark. Typical reluctant biters but we did manage to boat 7 fish from 60 to 75lbs, not bad for the first afternoon.
We are going to give this area another day before continuing down.
