Smooth ride

Arriving energy waned excitement faded we transitioned into travel mode with easy notions of relaxation and leisure. No hurry here; plenty of time to complete all chores offers one and all the perfect chance, consistent with the term “vacation”, to slow down and enjoy the passage of time and simple living.. And while most modern day whirlwinds of frantic activity may scoff, even bristle, at the idea of relaxation forced by time and environment, it's a beautiful concept to embrace; at least once in awhile. In this case “once in a while” will span a couple more days; no sense in fighting it.

So we cruise southward to the land of giants. With luck a quick stop along the way for the “stew pot” means a delicious meal of fresh caught wild ocean treasure in our near future. Less that luck we'll weather Chef's Mike Smith and Nestor Parrada's alternate gourmet presentations in stride. Rest assured that no one will suffer. All good on this end; traveling down.

Enjoy today's image grabbed from the graciously shared David Itano and ISSF library. It goes right along with the above mentioned “frantic activity”. Mimicking the pace of a doomed Skip Jack seems ridiculously impossible doesn't it? Yet so many do.
