Hey folks-
First off I would like to thank all the veterans for their service to this great country and the sacrifice they made for the people back home.
This morning started out slow. We woke up on the anchor and held tight till an hour after daylight to see if anything showed. After wandering off a little and catching a few yellows we worked up the line a little bit and it was apparent that the life had moved north slightly. Under a few swirling birds were a few porpoise and as we got close the sonar lit up and after kicking the anchor over the fish got right on us. We kept 8-15 going until we had to head for home! Left them biting full speed!
The most epic end to the trip happened when 79 year old Bob Wolfson said ” I want to catch a Wahoo”, tied on a wire leader and caught one as we pulled the anchor to go home. This was another amazing trip in the books!
Can’t wait to come back down and do it again!
