The Fortune is captained by Jake Kertzman, who brings years of experience aboard the renowned long-range vessel Royal Star. His background reflects a deep knowledge of long-range fishing operations, safety, and customer-focused service. That experience is now carried over to his leadership aboard The Fortune, where he runs overnight to three-day trips with the same professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to producing successful trips.

The Fortune is a 65-foot-long, 22-foot-wide vessel designed for comfort, stability, and performance. It features a bunk room accommodating up to 24 passengers, along with two private staterooms. The boat is equipped with two inboard-facing heads, one of which includes a shower. The galley has been recently updated, and the salon comfortably seats up to 14 passengers at one time.

To ensure your catch stays in peak condition throughout the trip, The Fortune is equipped with a refrigerated seawater (RSW) system, keeping fish fresh for the entirety of your fishing adventure. In addition, the vessel features top-of-the-line electronic fish-finding and navigation systems, giving the crew the tools needed to locate and stay on fish efficiently.

Beer, soft drinks, sundries, and fishing tackle are not included.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the departure date. Deposits are non-refundable unless the cancellation is made at least 90 days prior to departure. We reserve the right to overbook by one reservation.

The price does not include meals, beer, soda, gratuity, or Mexican fishing permits.
