The fishing at the Coronado Island continues kicking out some very nice Yellowtail and now some Bonito. The Liberty has trips scheduled every day for the next couple of weeks. They are recommending a 40 or 50# yo-yo set up and 25 or 30# live bait set up. There have been some opportunities for the guys that want to fish the surface iron.

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with 78 Bluefin Tuna for 30 anglers on a 2 day trip. 

The Shogun returned this morning with 75 Yellowfin Tuna, 15 Bluefin Tuna, and 1 Dorado for 17 anglers on a 3 day trip.

The Liberty caught 19 Yellowtail and 5 Bonito for 29 anglers on their Full Day trip. 

The Dolphin AM caught 238 Rockfish for 39 anglers.

The Dolphin PM trip caught 187 Rockfish, 26 Sculpin, 2 Sheepshead, 3 Calico Bass, and released 20 Barracuda for 31 anglers. 

Bight Sportfishing called in with 5 Yellowtail on their Full Day Cornado Islands trip for 5 anglers. Still Fishing! The Freeman 34 has two Coronado Islands trips departing Friday and Saturday, specifically targeting yellowtail—prime opportunity to get on the bite!
