If I haven't met you yet, whether on the dock in San Diego bay, a rolling deck of a long range boat of the coast of Baja or maybe out floating on a high altitude lake, my name is Bruce Smith. I have worked out of San Diego, Fisherman's Landing, since 1991. Over the past 20 years I have worked on some of the finest long range vessels in the fleet, including the Searcher, Royal Polaris, Royal Star and the Shogun and I have held a 100 master mariner license for the past 17 years. Oh how time flies. My passions include fly fishing from a float tube, fly tying, hiking, but what I am really good at is taking my passengers out on the Eastern Pacific and finding them fish to catch. All the while maintaining a top notch operation with safety and service my main concern. The fishermen that ride with me are not only passengers seeking to catch a tuna or yellowtail, they are my friends.
