Tough tuna fishing this morning. Only picked up a handful of tuna so we opted to go look for some yellowtail. To our surprise they weren’t very hard to find! We had pretty steady fishing on 25-45lb yellowtail for most of the day. We landed 41 of those bruisers and lost many more. When the bite died we went back into tuna mode. We got on a school of big ones right at sunset. Picked 7 more tuna and they were all big! 110-140! Great way to end the trip and the year.
